Runners strive to run faster, more efficiently, and injury free. Good form running focuses on proper mechanics and aims to help runners of all ages and abilities achieve those goals. GFR is designed with simplicity as the primary goal, because if something isn’t easy it generally doesn’t last.
Not a runner? We emphasize how basic principles apply to both running and walking, even for only walking around the mall or to and from your car. GFR addresses posture, footstrike, cadence and lean. We use video to analyze the gait of participants and encourage questions and discussion. Previous topics have included: how to stay injury free, barefoot walking & running, efficient form, running on hills, how to use gravity to help you, and proper footwear. We have consistently received positive feedback from our clinics and are confident that Good Form Running can have a positive effect on your exercising too. |
